10 babies? We should check if Dzedajus got lucky and rename the baby "dzedajus jr", but we should really find out who the vampire is, maybe its the guy who is an expert broker, vampires generally have have high skills.

Looks good that we are actually getting this succession going :D

The number of babies is a bug in 40.0x that has been resolved.

Yeah, there are a couple potential candidates for the vamp, and it's possible s/he died in the werecreature attack and tantrum aftermath.

only thing I've changed are the save files (of course...) and the init.txt file (increased file size). It's just a website/browser warning. Or your virus software doesn't recognize the download from the site. You could extract the zip and run a scan on it if you're that cautious. (you could just scan the zip for that matter with most av software.)

edit: just a heads up, I saw Dwarf Therapist was updated for 40.08. Unknown if it is compatible with all previous bug releases for 40.x.

All righty then, let's get to it finally. I said I'd get it done by tonight, and I'll be damned if I don't.

First impressions... this fort looks like the biggest load of hit I've ever seen. Corpses and miasma are everywhere, it looks like everything is on the same level for some reason, quantum stockpiles are not being used and 90% of the populace is injured. It also appears that a cavern is very high up and the entire fort is melded with the first level cave for some reason. In addition the main stairway is 1x1.

Apparently everyone is fucking ecstatic about the situation though.

Time to get renovating.

Although I'm actually half tempted to abandon the entire pre-made fort and just restart on another corner of the map and forget anything ever happened, I'll see what I can do to fix the issue.

I looked at the military to see they were all wrestlers, then promptly solved the problem by disbanding it entirely. Wrestlers are so worthless, even with a weapon. I'll get to fixing the military issue later.

First things first, a small quantum stockpile for refuse, dumping it into the not-yet-made-actually moat, so when it is filled with water at some point hopefully, the refuse will be washed away. Also: A new food area for fooding, and quantum stockpiles everywhere because the nabs who played last cannot into dwarf fortress.

Several of the injured dorfs died of dehydration, but I'm not worried. With the place in the state that it is in, they were just a drain on resources.

And then, they came.....
The elves....
I sure know how to deal with this, however for some reason the militia keeps breaking up and pussying out.
I guess if you want something done, you have to do it yourself...

After a while of my *properly* set up quantum stockpiles not working for some reason (I'm assuming because the idea was just too foreign), I decided to just restore massive parts of the stockpile to how they were before rather than solve the problem.

I decided to look through my own dwarfs kills just to see if he had any experience in the field... and I found this...
