its not that im fearing anything, its more like, this stereotyping concerns a lot of ppl living in towns. and thats where we all have something together. i dont wanna be blamed or insulted for something just because im from laketown. as colbear doesnt want to be just because hes living in goonheim (btw, is that the name?), or someone from bottleneck, from any other town.
well maybe some dont care...

it just tightens old conflicts, forcing individuals to "stand united" against the evil other town and stuff. even if they didnt feel any bad blood towards the other townmembers, they might feel insulted because they see themselves as lets say "goonheimers" and "laketown" insulted all of them.

hope i could make my point. serious arguments get kinda difficult in english from time to time

A group of new members came in from the something awefull forums, whose members are called goons. They formed a town in this previously peaceful little world and that got a large amount of players from other towns on guard (including myself due to unfortunate past experiences with goons, but i did not partake in any hostility's.).
Now its true have a bit of a large griefer/player ratio and therefore some might have been innocently deemed guilty of crimes their fellow goons committed (the experiences players had with JTG didn't improve their goon relationship either.). now those players are pissed off for being unfairly judged.

Well, I think that's about what happened, or am I a bit off about these recent events?

Nono, I got that part, I was there when they all came in. Hell I even helped some of them. I just wanted to know the reasoning for this thread, especially JTG's silly remark about his liking cock. So what if the goons are called that, goons. Words are just inventive ways to interpet soundwaves that we recognize. The meaning behind them is made up too, and can mean anything to anyone else. They need to stop being butt hurt. They live in a town that is led by one of H&H's greatest players. Yes, JTG is great, only in the way that he has helped developed The Game. Yet, he's done some pretty mean things, so it's only fair that people assume he'd do it again. Same with child molestors. We label them as that for the rest of their lives, because they wanted on an 8 yr old.

We did leave, and you hunted us down and slaughtered our newbies anyways. Look, if you hate us and want us dead, you can say so and we won't QQ. But you can't just say "we iddn't kill anyone we're the good guys you're all lying" and THEN turn around and slaughter our newbies when we get up and move far out of the way to play by ourselves.

I mean, you basically did the equivalent of sitting at the ring and killing all the newbies, except with the added benefit that it takes me like an hour to run our newbies to our town and teach them how to move.

1 - LAKETOWN DID NOT KILL JTG.
A character that people believe was played by jtg was killed by a group of characters that had Wanderer in it.

2 - The group was looking for another well known thief/griefer, but was unable to find him.

3 - Wanderer has put it out there that he's gunning for JTG. He's warned players that if they band together with him and make him their leader then they're taking on his reputation as their own.


Wanderer is NOT Laketown. He's our leader and his word carries a lot of weight, but each member is an individual and we have our own beliefs and actions.

No, no, no, it wasn't Sami, it was someone else, and it was AWESOME AND HILARIOUS. If it'd been Sami, it would have been pretty lame, since he was explicitly saying he wouldn't, but it wasn't him, and I apologize for saying it was before getting confirmation. My mistake, I assumed it'd been him, since he's gunning for us pretty hard, but someone got the guts to log in and check the name (what I heard was pretty much "holy fuck I'm dead what" from a few different people).
