What it was used for before, asking questions, having questions answered, discussing the game. It was decently lively up until approximately a month and a half ago.

Well then I wonder what changed that, for over a month I could go 5 hours watching watching the chat with not a word said, nothing but join/quits...

So we're back to this. People still use the channel for trades, questions and chatting in general (despite your assertions otherwise) but let's accept that the game has bled about a hundred players and at the moment has very little to draw new players in
