I was debating for a long time whether or not I should proceed entirely in character, or whether I should write an explanatory post, and this has made the decision for me. I am unfortunately human and as such, I have a life outside of the game. My school responsibilities have been for the past month accumulating and I have not had time to complete the life of Anastasia in the 4th world.

She doesn't die. This is not to say that bad shit doesn't happen, but that is life.

*SPOILERS*

I think I played fairly well, and at the end of the world had quite the repertoire of skills. Despite this, Anastasia put points into every ability score and learned almost every skill, so a lot of potential was wasted there. I had a great time playing the game and journeying through the world, but I doubt I want to begin another undertaking like this journal for world 5.

Anastasia's journey is only half complete from what I have posted already on the forums here. There were a fair bit of inter-game and forum politics which occurred to prevent me from continuing to write the journal however. (Including but not limited to threats from Kail's player to cease and desist writing the journal). I had also debated wiping the previous posts to reflect her destruction of the birch bark records and conversion to a new beginning which happened slightly after the journal here ends. I will finish the story in the manner I began it though, and hopefully this record of my experience through world 4 will be entertaining and possibly educational.

Anastasia's "life" as it were ended at approximately 126 or 127 in game days, with each journal entry being the marker of on "day-cycle", when I was logged on. In this time, the grinding was rewarding only insofar as I had people to talk to. Had Anastasia not "found" the group from Dolgepol, I would have assuredly quit. I guess I should call them citizens of Providence now though, as you readers of my game-play diary shall find out.

So, this is the beginning of the end. I wish more people could keep the forums and the game separate, but alas, meta-gaming is a very large movement these days. To reiterate: this journal will be finished up to the point where the world ends, and Anastasia doesn't need to write any more. Don't expect her to write a journal about it though, as ceasing to exist means that she can't record it.

I am sorry to hear that you will not be keeping a record of your new character's actions in the world; I enjoyed your chronicles and it would inspire me to do the same, though perhaps in private and to be published after the world has once again become consumed by Fenrir.
