I don't think that it is the case, but if the OP is a lie, I hope that the guy is proud, he is just going to kill and destroy all the people who helped he and gave him a chance to survive.
If it is truth, then I must say that they deserved it.
Anyway, we will never know the truth, only the goddess knows it, and those guys : )
