95% of vaults. Didn't realize suggestions had to be 100% perfect in order to be implemented.

Also I don't see you coming up with any great ideas.

If you want to have it so rafting rams over become a quicker way at doing brickwalls along water (8h to repair and wait vs 24h to build and wait) then why not just make the build and wait 8h considering that's what everyone would just go to the raft ram method and ignore building at walls to begin with. Or am i missing something here?

What? They still have to build the ram and protect it for 24 hours, regardless of what they do with it afterwards...

The thing is, i don't want it to be fixed, but i
will agree to shoot down your suggestions by
showing you the flaws in them. I'll grudgingly
edge you on and answer your questions until
you finally find the ultimate solution. No, your
idea is bad, terrible even, zoomed out i see
50 tiles in every direction, assuming you make
it right on the shore ,which would be required
for that idea of yours, i can spot the ram by
just peeking out the door, and most villages
are by water for a reason, and you wouldn't be
able to fool them by hiding it behind a tree that
they sail past every day

1.build ram at off site location
2. put on raft
3. slowly go up to vault
4. unload
5. repair
6. wait/defend for 8h
7. ram

isn't this the process were talking about?

Still seems like a better solution than the current mechanics to me. They still have to build and protect the ram close enough that when they raft it up they only have to wait another 8 hours before ramming.

So with this idea you wouldn't be able to raft the ram more than 25 tiles without having to repair and wait before you can continue rafting? Or if you went further than that 25 tiles and not repair it would it break completely and be lost?

My understanding would be that the ram would continue to decay if you tried to travel more than 25 tiles via raft with it, so that if you tried to raft a ram a couple minimaps away the ram would simply be destroyed. Obviously the idea has issues and it's kind of dumb to talk about anyway since loftar has made it clear that he wants to completely redo siege mechanics, but it's something to talk about at least.
