Neither were the white knights, I recall 1 person being outside of Pandemonium in a dragon helm claiming to be bell and 10 people cluttered at the idol wondering what they should do. After me and JC snuck out the back door like naughty kids we are and jumped the guy, turns out he was just a 1ua alt with a q3 dragon helmet.

It was Q7 you bastard. I paid a pearl for that!

Also, thats not -exactly- how it happened. The pandes knew what to do, but they thought it was a trap (duh.) so they were having second thoughts, and then you, being you (of course) charged out there. ;)

That''s looking at from a narrow point of view though. No one really seems to engage fights with out a sure chance of winning, and that's not surprising, there's a lot at stake and if you can just sit behind your brick wall it's probably for the better. And the point of that is.. you can't really gauge a factions strength based on the fact that they did or did not come out from their brick wall while the enemy was at it.

And I love this game for it's history and lore is made by the players them selves, everything of meaning, was just brought here, by us, I went into depth on this in another thread, so don't need to again, just lame roleplaying stuff I secretley admire under my guise of playing this game like a FPS. Never against will I drop to me knee's and pay monthly sub fee's to the corporate tyrant that is SoE, never!

EQ, or EQ2?

And J&L work for one of those "corporate tyrants"

U Jelly that nobs understand why this game sucks?

No I'm saying that AS a "nob" you haven't experienced everything that the game has to offer first-hand and therefore can't fully understand what the people here are complaining about. Sure you can read up a bit and take a stab at what w3 and 4 was like (as an example) but you didn't play it so you can't exactly comment on it like it's a straight fact. The main reason why I've never weighed in on the old system vs. curios is because I joined mid w5 when it'd already been changed. Anything that I would have to say would be hear-say and ignorant as fuck. Which is why I'm shaking my head. I seriously doubt in your month of playtime (judging by your join date) you've experienced all of the flaws that have been stated on this forum. Now if you've been playing for a longer period of time and this is a new forum account I apologize but from what I can tell you're new.

I understand what you are saying, but it is like saying I am incapable of understanding rape because I haven't been raped. Would you tell an attorney that she can't understand rape unless she's been raped? I doubt it.

Also, forming opinions based upon arguments of others is not ignorant. This is what attorneys and judges do all of the time.

Yup. Believe it or not, it actually happened again with another one of bells alts lol. Near the end of the world though. This time bells alt was in a bear cape and not all crap gear though :). He had wanted to die for einhar (full trad).

Why would anyone go out? There was no possible advantage to be gained from going outside.

Ahh, that's fucking awesome. I haven't heard that before. I also like the player-generated intrigue. I think I will take player based lore over something artificial any day.

What a completely horrible example. Even if you might have had a point, your example is so bad it still makes you look bad. Anyway, I don't base my judgments about people who post on their post count. I know there are plenty of experienced who just don't go to the forums. People's understanding of game mechanics become pretty obvious when they enter a discussion of mechanics.

@potjeh's comment about them not coming to fight

I think burg's response sums it up ;)

I've been at Taar's walls with just one or two other guys, wearing bronze gear, and nobody wanted to come out. I've also tracked them with similar numbers and curiously never managed to catch up. Can't say for sure, but I think Bell may have had autohearth.
