Yeah, my wife works for the United States Army and I live on an Army base but I'm clueless. Lets not forget that the base I live on does 75% of the combat training for deployments. My wife's boss PCS'ed to Iraq a little over a year ago to begin the draw down and he's in the Army medical services, needless to say one of the last to be drawn down. Second, because the draw down started so soon after he was elected, wouldnt you think that maybe someone had plans readied? Because really, what has he done that has been quick and efficient (aside from creating a China/Canada alliance)? The draw down started long before Barry Soetoro made his way to the office of the President. The Marines for one had already requested to taken out of Iraq so we could push in Afghanistan, where the harder fighting was taking place.
