The difference is that children know very well what the rules are and them destroying the fine carpet or fine plates by just being normal absent-minded children is very different from what is happening in this scenario. Heck, I doubt most children destroy those "nice things" on purpose; they are just being children and not careful enough.

That is a terrible comparison you got there

That's where the expression "That's why we can't have nice things" comes from, as far as I know: a child destroying/ruining something nice their parents bought.

No, it's generally used on the internet as an "Immature assholes ruin everything." It may have started about children, but it's far from what it originally was. Blame Lolcatz.

I dunno what language you're speaking, but that certainly doesn't look like "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! DICKS FOR SLAANESH!"

I'm pretty sure Jorb is a Chaos worshipper. In fact... That might be a good Christmas present.

Also; Seriously? You're going for the "They don't know any better!" defense? Yes. They know full well what they're doing.

Point was that the people here are not children and therefore the "That's why we can't have nice things" should not be applied in this game.

I see, did not snap up that change in language use.

Yup, everything ever is ruined by an Image Macro, but it's just SO easy to use. I mean, instead of having to go through the tedious process of creating something new and original, expending actual time and effort at making something, you can just... I dunno. Type some characters(variables) into a search engine(Program) and voila! Instant success! You win forever! It was SOOOO easy!

Do you see what I'm getting at here? It's a metaphor.

It's not as if we haven't been aware that foraging is relatively non-intensive in terms of meaningful decisions to be made during the process.

I dunno, it's always tough to leave your walls, and balancing risk and reward of different routes does come into play. I have this amazing swamp. It's fantastic, hell, it's magical. But fuckers pour out of the village next to it like an ant hill made out of Rape and Sriracha. It may not be intensive in the where when, but the why and the "How am I going to get away with it." always comes into play.

At least in my experiences.

Heh. I wouldn't be too sure about that.
