I don't think Terraria looks that good. Besides, I'm too much of a busy person, usually.

And other stuff. But I can't access my site right now so I'm just goofing off to avoid panic right now.

Not that you can use it for building materials because players would just eat it up. :P

Terraria is fun for a day or two. The initial rush to upgrade your equipment is exciting. As is killing the few available bosses. Once you are decked out in full molten gear the game becomes very dull though. And I can't imagine playing through it again until there are a few changes. Adding perma death to this game would be a nice feature.

It should be noted that playing the game solo is similar to playing H&H solo, in that you aren't getting the full experience.

Been playing it after work most of this week, got about 4 IRL friends who join my server on and off.

Playing maybe 2-3 hours a night? that's like, maybe 9 hours of play so far, I dig it, it's quite impressive for 2 months of work, even considering all the sloppiness, shortcuts and outright coding stupidity (binding to the top NIC be default instead of allowing incoming connections on all WTF?)

Definitely worth my $10 already, I can see how people are less than impressed though, it's not a AAA game, nor is it a HnH, Minecraft or Dwarf Fortress, all of which have had at least a year of effort, in some cases much more.

Continued patches and supports would be nice, but yeah, as someone said, I'm not betting on it.

Would the coding have been any better, though, had they not been rushed to release it because of the leak is the real question. Sure there would be a lot more content to it, but the coding would probably still be sloppy. This is just my observation. I have no idea how sloppy the code really is, I am just going by what everyone is saying.
