I love real life. Last week, after I spontaneously burst into life as an adult, I caught a wind and kept it in a wind chime and crafted a pretty sick wind sword out of it. Shortly after that I built up a village and a magic fire at my mine that I built with wooden blocks by myself. Now I teleport back and forth between my village's idol and my magic fire.

I shit in real life. I have allergies in real life. I am nearsighted in real life. Screw real life. I thought I was playing a game. Any argument that appeals to real life is useless. Go for a realistic feel but there will always be exceptions.

Jesus H Christ, you are really thick.

PvP is here to stay. Get over it, I doubt J&L will be removing it any time soon. Build some damned walls, join a faction, pay a bit for protection.

Either that or become a hermit.

Sometimes games have other people involved. Like every single MMO, MUD, or other acronym, for example. Sometimes those people do things you wouldn't do if it were up to you. That's why I only play ball and cup. There's a string that ties the ball to the cup, so the ball doesn't get lost if you miss the cup. Also, Hoop and Stick is a fun game. You roll a hoop using only a thin stick. Though, I usually make sure to close the gate to my backyard so no one can interfere. If someone took my hoop, I'd probably rage-quit Hoop and Stick. That'd show those hoop manufacturers.

A good idea if ever there was one, at least for the duration of the conflict.

On the contrary, the fun is just beginning. If you consider large-scale wars between 2 factions fun.

Yeah, once a bunch of us were playing basketball, and some guy runs in and he says, "Hey this is how I play basketball.", and he takes out a blow torch and burns down the nets and melts the ball into a puddle on the tarmac. So we called the cops, and they said, "Hey, if you don't like the way THIS guy plays basketball, you probably shouldn't play."

The end.

Lmao! Who is thick? I'll try to make this as clear as I possibly can. My village WAS pretty much a hermitage. My friends and I were mostly polite to everyone and kept our interactions with other players to a minimum to avoid conflict of any kind while we simply progressed through and experienced the game. I had no interactions with Delamore or any of the goons prior to the attack. We lived WAY out in the middle of nowhere. Keep believing that we somehow provoked the attack or had it coming if that makes you feel better, but when you login to find everything you've worked for gone or destroyed even with your kind-hearted hermitage plan, here's a coupon redeemable for 1(one) free I-Told-You-So.

Baawwww. Your village got raided? Sorry, I don't much care.

Also, hermits live ALONE.

There are always exceptions to rules. No matter how isolated you are, there is always a chance for a raid. And the goons made that chance a reality. Woopty-freakin' doo.
