then change your title to "2050 prediction game for elementary students", and i wont touch it any further.
i see nothing intelligent in here.

Has it come to mind that perhaps the reason there is nothing intelligent here is the result of you derailing the thread? Perhaps if you were to say something intelligent the condition would no longer be true. But that is FAR too much to ask of you. Those who are too scared to try, criticise.

i was throwing in a counter-argument to this baseless point you insisted.
then, you called it "just healing, no massive growth" to turn it down when you were supposed to be talking about predictions.
thus, whatever you cant see currently is nil in your thread. you cant expect anything intelligent that way.

Lord_of_War wrote:"backwards" is not necessarily the right word. If you prefer "undeveloped". Or having a lower amount of economic wealth compared to first world countries. This thread is primarily focused on economics. If you assume some sort of racism you are entirely wrong.

Learn what globalization has done to the economy. Developed nations need primary-sector economic blocs to support themselves (first it was Asia, soon it will be Africa). If you don't think Africa is the next pool for rampant investment for its resources (both natural and labor related), then you're downright delusional. Hell even China is racing to be the first big one to do so, as they know their growth is unsustainable (as they are becoming a developed economy and can't rely on western money for their resources and labor anymore and enjoy modern standards of living). Investment in African infrastructure allows access to resources and labor pools to free up your own economy for higher standards while maintaining supply lines to not exhaust your own domestic pool of strategic resources (a smart play by China currently, as although they aren't a paper tiger by any means they do have a lot of tightrope lines economically and politically to balance on their future development).

The United States needs to get its head out of it's own ass politically; the "two" party system that is divided on social issues that shouldn't even be arbitrated by a federalised state. But the public in general is (unfortunately) comfortably familiar with this charade of a political process and any methods to adjust it at this point would usually promote even more centralized power. There is gonna be a lot of pain and suffering before a phoenix can arise from the ashes.

And I'm going to have to agree with you Anna. I was over simplistic and cynical. I can't help but recall how the Chinese did more for the development of Iraq than the US ever did.

Once uppon the time in old 2049 year, there was a dog named Fifi. He was hungry. Unfortunatelly John Drover already had new car. It was too fast, so Fifi didn't.... he couldn't.... reach .... next year. So sad.
