there has been many more news and rumours on it, like, 14 pieces is enough to fill you up, or he might have not been hungry enough after long hours of air flight, or some say endangered blue fin tuna discouraged him, or there was a big sushi delivery order confirmed worth $160 from obama's room to another famous sushi shop in ginza that clinton loved as obama checked in hotel (and delivered before he left for the dinner so he must have had some too etc), and so forth.

and you know, it is about the different interpretation by each media.
who actually cares whether obama liked the sushi or not in general?! even if you get to ask obama in person, he would just say he liked it and thats all, and that does not have the news value "to sell".
oh yeah, now that reminded me, business insider was so bothered about obama eating endangered species.

He's been shown on national media to cut a slice of cake in half and only eat one half of it. If anything, I think he only ate 14/20 slices of sushi for health reasons or simply because he was full.

See, he talks so much about this and that and fiscal responsibility, but then goes and wastes food!!
