Ty Oddi for posting!

I wonder why there's still a rumor going on inner party ( which is mainly a closed group of the forums for mods and a handfulls others) would have early access to hafen while there was a statement already that we all start the same time and no favouring of any groups or persons ...

Well, we haven't really decided on the exact mechanics; it's quite possible that hearth secrets per se will remain so that you can kin and possibly also form a party with people, but in the case of the latter, there will at least not be any long-distance party arrows.

I think because of the decision(removing hs, village teleport, and party arrow), a few of playerbase(people prefer start with their friends together) will be break off. but I doubt new players will come, anyway hafen is quite hardcore and has high entry barrier.
Plus, hermitting will be more hard if you can't trade local.
Anyway faction will be born, and they will kill smaller ones. anyway people will create alts and abuse them. devs can reduce it, devs can delay it, but devs can't stop it.

I won't wait dead game, friends. going to enjoy current haven as much as I can.

New players always come. It's true that the retention rate has always been fairly low, but that didn't prevent soaring population increases between world 2 and world 4.

haha, that depends on a lot of things really. The barrier to play has gotten higher if you are unable to join with friends. I for sure can say I wouldn't have started playing long ago if I had been unable to start with the few people I decided to play the game with. This will probably just limit hafen a lot in the regards to picking up new players.

and new gaming groups have this on the list for august 27.

I'm going to say nearly min 3000-5000 max players.

I think it's going to have this problem too. I 100% wouldn't of kept playing if i couldn't play with my IRL friends when i started. Oddly enough though, the other people i knew who were playing just happened to spawn 5 mins down the river from me so i guess you never know who you might end up near :P
