Touched by an angel?

So Kran and I were hunting in or near mordor, and we started fighting with a fox. Being the silly self that I am, I forgot that I had previously fought a boar with my bow, and didn't change back to my battleaxe. As I was fiddling around trying to figure out why I couldn't attack this fox, the fox faints me. Soon after, some mysterious fully decked out person runs up, and help kran finish off the fox, then runs toward the wall again, disappearing off the screen with amazing speed. So, was I touched by an angel (dev)?

Also, Kran swears he saw something going on with near-by trees a little bit before this happened.

It was beyond mordor, beyond the edge of the map! And you forgot to mention, the fox was level twelve!

ha ha ha, not. I know for a fact that it is impossible to be beyond level 10, for more than just the "hasn't happened anywhere" reason.

Ugh. I was trying to make it into an old fisherman's tale, but you ruined all my fun. *Shakes head*

But seriously, it was at the very edge of the map.
