What game does H&H remind you of most and why?

As title.

For me it would be Island Troll Tribes, a custom map for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. It is a team survival map where the object is to eventually defeat the other tribes through skills/teamwork. There are three stats each player needs to keep track of - health/hunger, energy/fatigue, and heat. Alchemy-like recipes are used to make everything from tools to buildings. had a lot of fun with it

Another good WC3 one was Dark Deeds - a stronghold builder type map where one player was randomly chosen to be evil, given supernatural powers, and set to work against the other players. The others would have to uncover the villain before he destroyed/recruited the rest. there was a lot of paranoia and trickery in this

Harvest Moon, well maybe because I am in farming and lumberjack phrase in this Haven and Hearth. Haverst Moon is something like that, including communicate with others. It has day and night so does Haven and Hearth.

UnReal World, but I'll be damned if I know why because it's quite different from H&H.

That..simulator is hardcore shit.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Also one of the better games I've ever played.

I'm not surprised to hear that.

Anyway, if you're taking inspiration from URW, when you get around to implementing seasons, please don't make us sit in our cabins all winter ;)

Holy shit you figured out how it works?
I felt at home while playing dwarf fortress compared to that.
