This game just made me sad

Postby Wilkommen » Thu Sep 02, 2010 6:10 pm

I was excited. I had just made it to Constantinople after a 2 hour boat trip across 2 SG's. I was meeting exewu for a trade. I was afk for barely 30 seconds in the village and the game decides to log me off. I can't log back in where I was. Oh boy...

I now know that ;) It is just an inconvenience though, as now I'll have to do it all again tomorrow night.

I'd like dicking instead of idle kicking.

I think there should be a 3-minute window in which you can log in at exactly the place you logged off.

Because client crash to desktop shouldn't be able to waste some hours of your life.

It's even worse when the game decides to log you off when you are actively walking.. No I'm not making this up. Fortunately it was within Myrmidon village when that happened but it was still a wtf moment for me.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

That happens to me a hell lot. Wouldn't say all of them are me being logged off by the system though. I get a lot of crashes.

That's not the fault of the game though, the problem is the computer you're playing on. Maybe outdated drivers or java, or just a crappy internet connection. I only get an unwanted logoff maybe once a week, and I play every day.
