More supergrids/More mines

Postby Shask » Sun Sep 05, 2010 12:26 am

I'm looking for some information. Have there been map size increases in the past? Are there plans for the future? Me and my friend have been prospecting for ages and have found nothing, we'd love to find a mine but realistically they are going to all be taken.

How about you find yourself a village to join and/or trade for metal?

The idea of self-sufficiency appeals greatly to me, i.e. I can pretend H&H is a true survival roleplay where you're pretty much alone in the world (or with a friend in my case) and have to rely on yourself. Start with nothing, grab a stone and a branch, ultimately finish with a big stone mansion, farm and cheesy cellar.

Of course you might say it's not that type of game and I don't deserve metal..

No offense to the OP, but I haven't been playing THAT long, and im already sick and tired of people bitching over how they cant find mines. how do the rest of you guys put up with it? anyways, to the positive, I like the idea of more supergrids, but maybe let the newer ones get a bit more explored first? I just reached the south-east supergrid and theres almost no one here. I met one person who told me basically, that people who go there, don't stay very long. I wonder why?

If you're too lazy to find a mine, just trade for metal. There's dozens of threads about metal on the trading forum.

Really it's not hard.

Feels good to be a member of the elite mine owning class. Feels good man. ;)

If by small elite class you mean ~80% of the playerbase, then yes.

And really, how can you expect to have everything without participating in the economy at large? It's like going out to live in the woods with just a knife nowadays, and expecting to have running water and electricity. Maybe if you're McGyver.
