Question regarding PMs

When I send new PM's are they suppose to stay in the outbox? Why aren't they going to the sent folder?
If you can't realize I'm new to these forums lol

Not a dumb question. it took me a little nit to figure out as well, the message goes to your outbox until the person you are sending it to looks at it. when they read it, it is removed from the outbox.
