What I love about this game.

Well from most of the posts I make you can pretty much work out that I am a happy optimistic person, always seeing the glass half full and with the server down I though I would start a thread to just some our two almighty Gods that, despite some of the comments and backlashes from bugs and crashes, we love this game and all they have provided for us. So please post what it is that you love about this game, what keeps you coming back and constantly clicking the home button while your fingers are crossed.

****

I love how addictive this game is. Not the evil addiction where you have to go online every day and either grind out quests or water plants but the beautiful addiction where you want to be online all the time. You don't have to go on every day, once a week is probably enough but the game just draws you in and provides so much for you to explore and do. Not once while playing this game have I every thought 'that is all my jobs done now I can log off' I think that is just fantastic.

I also love the artwork. It really is brill, from the sun setting and casting its red glow to the boar charging me as I run for the shore. The items and the trees, everything is just amazing and it really is a testament to what one can achieve if you are dedicated enough. To think that all of this was done by just two people it just mind blowing.

And finally one of my other favourite things in the game is - the grifters, thieves and murderers. Yes you heard me right I love these scum of the HnH World. Without these people life would be dull and boring, what point would there be in getting anything more then a stick fence? Why bother to strive in getting super high ql armour and weapons if you can already kill bears which what you have at the moment. It is these people that drive us forward, that draw us together for safety and protection. So I ask you all, next time you kill a grifter, say thank you to him. He might have just lost you months of work as he teabags your corpse but it is his kind that helps drive HnH to a bright and bloody future.

The part where i drown a guy outside his walls
with his friend looking on in terror as i approach
the wall and start talking to him. Soon i convince
him i want to trade him silver and gold by dropping
a bar of wrought iron on the ground as silver and
he tells me to get back. I do so and he opens the
gate. As he walks towards the iron i sprint past into
him home and wait for him to walk back inside where
i deliver the killing blow and steal 5 chests of bulbs
and countless other treasures.

When I can come online and there's always at least 2 people I can chat to...

That guy prolly deserved the learning lesson for using stupid keys after it's been repeated OVER and OVER again not to use them. Or if using keys - just because him and his friend didn't have the foresight for one of them to open/lock doors while letting the other one through. OR just making a trading alt for it. Tsk tsk.

What I love is the feeling of creating something with my gf and friends while at the same time feeling the aforementioned dangers of the world.
