Orin's Odyssey

Postby ttsnim » Tue Sep 21, 2010 5:09 am

Greetings, fellow Hearthlings!

I am TT Snim, artist and general HnH addict. I find that I amuse my self often when doing things mundane or silly. When I play with my Hearthling Orin, a blond in every sense of the word, silly seems to be a staple. Because of my artistic nature, and my love of sharing my amusement with total strangers on obscure forum boards, I have taken a situation most hearthlings would find a minor annoyance and given it comic form. I hope it amuses you.

My second "Comic" isn't so much a comic, as it was my first EVER full digital painting of a human that I have ever completed WITH OUT OUT LINES! It is scary and creepy and may give me bad dream tonight. BUT that's sort of perfect for the subject. I hope it doesn't burn your eyes like it dies mine. >_<'

EDIT! AnnaC pointed out that it was as bad as I thought it was, so I tried to fix it... D:

Orin sees you, you creep. He KNOWS when you sneak in to his house and. . . MOVE CRAP AROUND! (Orin's neighbour really sneaks in and switches stuff around. He doesn't TAKE any thing, no, he just moves stuff. It's very, very, irritating.)

Orin and his Buckets

I'd like to say that I think I will do more comics involving Orin, AnnaC's character's (Who have yet to be featured), and possibly others on commission. (I would love to have permission from SeaTribe to take paid commissions and draw other peoples' characters. I would, naturally, give a part of the profit over in donations to help keep this game going! ^_^)

You have my respect.
"Normal" is only a difficulty level in video games - Aso11

Koya: What means "molest" ? Translator cannot translate it or do it with no logics...

Thank you aso11. ^_^

Ah, but now that I've posted it I see a number of things wrong with it. My lettering seems to be quite off. I have italics and non Italics almost randomly placed in the page. It's like I've got artistic A.D.D. or some thi. . . OH LOOK SILK MOTH! *Runs after it*

I don't care about the spelling mistakes. (Or were they intentional.)

Because we must have buckets. MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF BUCKETS!

EDIT: So you work at Seatribe I take it? What exactly does sea tribe have to do with H&H?
EDIT 2: Wait, isn't Seatribe just some fake company made by J&L? I'm confused here...

And the horrible truth.... I am not good at spelling things. Even when I run all of my text through a text editor. . . AND GOOGLE. . . I still can't catch all of my mistakes. Hence my never ending search for an editor.

No, I do not work for Seatribe. XD They live in Sweden, and don't really exist as a company. I mean I just want permission from the game makers, J&L, to make a profit off of my art by taking commissions from players. Then I'd give back some of what I made in donations via the donate button.

The commissions, which could be any thing from a simple bust sketch to a full on comic page or pages, would range in price according to the complexity. I'm not sure how much I'd donate out of what I made, as it would be very little I am sure, but I'd ball park a fair percent to be between 15% and 20%.

Thanks, I have 5 more "scripted" and I think I'll try to have one once a week. I, however, have a strange work schedule, so I can't make any promises.

YAY, I was hoping some one would like the froggy! Maybe some day they could be tamed. They'd have magic and help you fight animals.

Thanks for all of the input guys. I'm glad ya'll liked it. I definitely will make more!
