So I qwas just chilling in IRC and some guy who happened to be the admin i guess decided he wanted to wag his e-peen and kick me cuz of my name. I mean, I've got a lot of respect for anyone that is going to take time out of their life to be a mod in an irc channel for a game in alpha testing, so I don't see why I was banned. His reasoning was that my name sucked. This guy gave me some kind of ultimatum about how if I didn't change my name he was going to ban me. Being the stubborn guy I are, I told him I would just go ploay runescape. He proceeded to ban me. I didn't catch his name because he didn't seem that important, started with an E though for sure. So I figured I'd ask here to be unbanned. Surely this one guy isnt the only irc mod so one of you other guys can unban me yes? Also, I think we shouldnt have mods that abuse there powers, that stuff is uncool.

Well, I'm becoming very rich through alkl my endeavors in this game, and I would like to form a village, but being without IRC makes it hard to recruit villagers to my cause. I know you guys probably wont want to unban me for good reasons like helping me enjoy the game, cuz that just sounds pretty gay. So, maybe unban me so you can join my village and then kill me and shit on my village? That would be a better way to troll me then banning me from chat. Anyways think about and hopefully you will unban me.

They make the rules, they make the mods, they make your life a living hell. I've been booted for saying Pokemon is gay (which is a given and everyone knows it) and I too posted an insult to the mod (Mine was actually funny with proper spelling and grammar, but to each their own). You know what happened? Less than nothing.

why dont you just try Skaterguy on the IRC or something, most mods in most games hate names with a lot of wierd shit going on in the name, it just makes it harder to moderate.
im not saying it is a particular good reason for banning a person quite frankley, but they do own the server. If an admin asks you to change your name, especially since you know
you do have one of those wierdoletters name that easily annoyes people, then just change it instead of talking back, he gave you a choice right.

What is weird about "xxSK8rGUy277xx"? The only need for a moderator is to stop spammers imo. I don't plan on changing my name, I use it in steam as well. Cool that they own the IRC channel but I'm pretty sure if a name annoys you than you have some serious issues. Also my choice was change or be banned, and I aint a bich.

Your name does suck. It has numbers at the "end." There are more x's than used for a straight edge moniker, so I'm assuming you're not. Those x's are supposed to mean something; if you didn't know, it makes you ironic. If you did know, nobody else likes straight edge. Yeah sorry but no, it's the internet and shit but changing your name one place because 'someone told you to' is bullshit. As for the tyrant crap who knows, I've been kicked more times than I can count and banned almost as many and never for a legitimate reason because when there is a legitimate reason apparently no one bothers.
