Image

585 Pumpkins
= 43 troughs' worth
= 4300 seeds + 4300 flesh
= 478 full seedbags + 77 dual-sacked flesh picking merchants
= 172 days for a pregnant cow
= 21.5 days for 8 pregnant cows

Here's the full pic.

Why is the picture named Hameln? Do you plan to catch tons of rats?

Pretty cool but a little much since you could harvest that every 7 days, unless you specifically only want to do it every 3 harvests instead. :/

Hameln is where I've been when I built the idol in this very special spot. Also, the town itself is called Hameln.
BTW, can rats be put into vending stands? :D

I play this game to enjoy it and actually do stuff, not to log in, feed cows, and then log out again. Harvesting a day every 20 days is OK, while daily chores are just plain boring and make me rage about these four-legged demons that are literally chewing away my precious time. I could just kill them, but that'd stop my little cheese factory. Also, I felt the need to build something again. It's more fun than just doing the same things over and over.

Yeah for sure, I'm at 12 cows that are constantly giving me milk, and a few for breeding, 80 pumpkins isn't cutting it so much anymore, slowly trying to expand until I ahve something like what you have, maybe not as much though. The problem I find is actually keeping all the troughs around, that'd take 2 wagons full of troughs to manage.

Feel free to stop by Hameln and extend/use what's there for your own purposes (there's still plenty of space to expand, W or S).
About the troughs, just rotate them. Empty ones on the fields, full ones at home. When they're halfway down, fill and rotate. Building them isn't hard, I built these in under 10 min.

Wouldn't it be easier to just reduce the number of breeding cows? Using only best half should still get you decent quality progress, and beef is meh anyway so decreased meat production is no big loss.

I need teh milk, not breeding. For milk, they need to be pregnant. Which sucks, even if it is realistic.

They don't need to be pregnant, they just need to give birth once. Or are you cycling cows so fast you have 8 heifers at all times?

I cycle around 4 for breeding, 12 total milking at a time. I just need to get my milking ones all up to a standard of 60 quantity, 80+ quality. After that I'm done. Breeding is a pita.
