Flammable Jo's great adventure.

So I decides to take me the world map, start in a random place, and find my own way to my friends. Luckly I know where they are in relation to the world map, even if they aren't on it, so bonus there.

I start with some random boating, trying to find places in the first supergrid I come to. Ah, the first compleate palaside and village Deadwood? Near Sadom their thread says? Everything is near Sadom, it is the center of the world! So I fill my boat full of sand, and start walking north to the next supergrid... maybe I'll take a cart next time. I cross deserts, leave a fully set table in the middle of nowhere when I take lunch, a heart shapped ring of fires to mark my campsite. Next is Midgard, and I can thus tell I am near water. Onwards to Ocello Territory... and crash.

The world is just so big, and us so small. I hate to think of teleporting, when there is just so MUCH that you miss. I'll deffenetly be considering becoming a wagon gypsy, even if I ever find my way to the map.

I'm pretty sure that's most, if not all, villages in the Hearthlands. :lol:

First of all, my apologies for the slight necrobump. However.

TL;DR : Does anybody know where Deadwood is? Or, have a map of the area the guy found it in?

================================

So, I'm attempting to find my old village, on the big World Map by Mqrius. I found a little chronicle by somebody on the forum via search, who said he came across Deadwood, then Midgard, then Ocella Territory. Deadwood, however, is now shown - unlike Midgard (122, -88) and Ocella Territory (110, -88). So, I'm guessing he was heading westward.

Here is what I can remember of Deadwood's surrounding area. A clay flat across the river with a Mine (surrounded by palisade) on it, and a lake to the south. The lighter green is the.. Other, forest. Not broadleaf... Forgot the name. With mulberries and such.

If anybody knows of anything about the midgard area, or even Deadwood's location itself, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Regards,
Azkanan.
