Dying in Character Creation Room

What happens if you do this? Theoretically it's possible to kill yourself by getting your hunger to starving and letting that drop your hard hp. I tried this a week or so ago so I could have a glowing ball of light for an ancestor, but alas, the server was shut down as I got to starving level. I'm just curious how this works, since it doesn't seem to save your character until you leave the character creation room.

Edit: If anybody else is interested in this I can try it myself when I have time and post the results of the experiment, but if somebody else has done this I'd rather just hear what happens.

It doesnt save it: does nothing.

it crashed the server the first time someone did it but they fixed that bug

I found one interesting thing there. You can dig in that room, so you are able to take 16 pieces of Q10 sand with each new character. Easy glass for those of greens, who can't find it in game.

If you log out as a character in the creation room, it won't be there the next time you check.

So if a character died in there, I don't think there would be anything new.
