The Warped One Bows Out

Postby WarpedWiseMan » Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:33 pm

To all the girls I loved before...

Runaway trains are impossible to stop, unless Superman gets involved. Well, my Superman hath arrived. So, I take this time to bid Haven & Hearth a very fond farewell.

This game is the epitome of what's great and possible with gaming today. Two drunken Swedish college guys creating a world that is built and destroyed solely on the whims, be they friendly or fiendish, of it's players.

I loved every moment of my time here that wasn't spent repairing shit. My character will go on as shall New Cockhaven, but in both cases, without me at the helm.

To sabinati, Alice/Elyse, Sotsa, stickman, Estefan, Oddity, El Gato, Bitza, Reya, Keeny, Bonnie, all of my fellow Cockhavenites, the wasteland known as the irc, Bessie the Cow and the 5 douchebags I murdered. Thanks for the experiences.

Regards and Adieu,

Warpy I Unchallenged Emperor of the Dongpublic, Lord of Cockhaven

Buh-Bye, you cock.
"Normal" is only a difficulty level in video games - Aso11
Jackard: Koya only raises the lynx so he can molest it later
Koya: What means "molest" ? Translator cannot translate it or do it with no logics...
"And no im not native to english, I was born in the usa." - A very bad troll.

did something happen to your village? i find it strange that you would be trading for so much stuff and then just quit

Nope. The village is probably at its high point actually.

I'm at a point where I'm simply doing quality cycling. Then one morning I logged on to just go hunt real quick for high quality intestines for my cheese but never got to it. Instead I had to fix a ton of troughs, fences, containers, coops, feed the animals and do hours of just regular maintenance. It hit me all of a sudden that what I like about the game had become far outweighed by the annoying click-fest.

Instead of building, surviving and sandboxing like early on, I was forced to do a job. I'd come back to the log-in screen and then instead go do something else.

I'll probably be back for the new world if only to experience that "OH MY GOD A BOAR! RUNOHSHITNOTTHEFACEOHTHEHUMANITY!" feeling early game-play gives you.
