water in caves

I wonder why the wiki says leave deep water alone when all you have to do to get across it is to use a boat.???? :?:
let us all take a moment remember and honor trisby, the true desident of Tris, who was last seen in all white walking into a river with her beloved sledgehammer in her hands. May she find honor and glory in the next life

It probably means don't swim in it, cause its just as hard as a river I believe.

wiki says
As far as the deep water sometimes found in caves is concerned, it is generally agreed to leave the water as a barrier to your exploration due to the extreme danger posed by the Swimming skill.

Wiki is right about the swimming but it is wrong when it says it say the water is a barrier to cave exploration. It is wrong because you can use a boat to explore in deep cave water so water need not be a barrier to cave exploration ever again. :D
