The month of November

Postby GrandProject » Mon Nov 01, 2010 6:39 pm

The coming time of November, up to the 11th is generally seen as a time of respect for veterans of war, soldiers, and participants in the wars of the current day, and those of the past. I would like to start a topic for the commemeration of this event. If you do not recognize remembrance day, please do not rant on this thread, and please do not post hate, ect.

I will start by posting a song which really resonates with me : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kX_3y3u5Uo

Please feel free to post anything showing respect for our vets and those effected by war, but please, please no negatives.

It is not my country, you know. I won't even bother to discuss that further with you though.

it isn´t my country either. so why should i honor them - respect maybe. but i´d rather respect and honor the guys from my family. greatgrandfather ww1, grandfather ww2, father czech crisis. and i sure bet, i have been in more armed conflicts and crisis regions then most of you people ever will. so i think i honor myself - and the greatest honor for me will be celebrating the 11.11. with drinking the traditional start schnaps at 11:11 a.m.
