Weird graphic display, can I keeps it

Postby pordle » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:14 pm

It looks like the background didn't draw in this "chicken coop" box. The weird part is that I wasn't anywhere near a coop and had just entered a timber house.
Question is... can I keep this and make my ui black/transparent like that?

I wouldn't say it's cruddy.
Quad core 6g ram - 5mb line. The graphics card isn't high end but really, this is a browser game :P
Why would I be spamming tab?
You don't know how to keep the transparency I'm guessing.

That can happen due to lag sometimes I believe.

The drivers of the graphics card could also be the reason.

Any chances of transparent tabs anytime in the future?

It's not a graphics issue, the tiles in an inventory are semi-transparent anyway, it's just that they normally have the full box behind them, which didn't get properly sized in your case, probably having something to do with lag or packet loss. It happens once in a while, and I don't see how it could possibly be related to anything but the client, really.

There have been weird house-related bugs lately, or maybe I should say teleport/door-related because some caves and houses seem to think they belong to faraway villages. Also people getting shot by phantom bowslingers and tables and chairs flinging themselves through walls. I gotta say, this is stuff truly worthy of the Bugs forum's description. Thar be mischievous spirits afoot.

Although this effect is a bit older than that so it's probably unrelated.
Come back two hours earlier.
