So me and my friend (and possibly more friends in the near future) have decided to start gutting out this game to build at least a small village with a farm and the likes, first and foremost our rustic "homebase", which at the moment is just two hearth fires and a lean-to, is built close to a large village called ARMENIA. I know nothing about this village, is it safe to build close-ish to it or should we move on and find a better place? Second, I've heard that the chances of finding a mine are about zero now with all of the villages and such built and claimed now, is this going to be a huge problem to us? I'm not planning on making a super-village, just a nice little safe village for friends. I know it isn't necessary but the added capabilities with metals seem like something we'd enjoy, so is it a big deal if we can't find any? Also I've ehard any available mines are probably far off in the outskirts of the world, is it worth travelling hours to get to them?
P.S. Does anybody know anything about ARMENIA? I'd like to get a basic idea of where we are in relation to the world map. Thanks!
