Becouse of the periodly new map postings

Is there maybe a way to stop this ? :p

In order of this, maybe u can put in a new feature. For example: craft 20 pergaments to 1 Map. on this map u see the empty map of the world and can paint (like a simple windows paint programm) ur stuff in it.
So u have to travel arround the word and can fix/refresh ur map. u can trade ur map with other maps and refresh it and so on.
so every village have to go periodly to the other villages for new map information.

The reason why i post this is: in the near of our settlement an evil guy placed down (big fortess he build up and so on). this guy punish the settlements in his near. for now he dont know that we exist. but if u place the next map in this forum he will see our settlement and will surly come for some little dirty actions against us :(
So 1) its not realistic to give all players an overview like this (there for u need satellite^^) and 2) its not good for the gameplay feeling.

Is there a possible way to stop posting a new map and let players make there own maps ? (without that feature i make my own map with pain :P)

greetings & gn8

Look, I agree with your basic message, but please start using firefox and spell check. It's hardly possible to read your post.

There is at least one problem with custom maps, and that is that it would take a significant amount of the server's resources to store a separate, large bitmap for every copy of the world map made.
Surprise.

I don't know that a spell checker would make much difference apart from pointing out the sms speak with you == u all over it.

Apart from that it seems to be perfectly cromulent engrish

As has been stated elsewhere, the posting of new maps will be standard practice as long as we're on these maps. I would be surprised if player made maps in the style of the present maplib did not exist for future maps as well. It is however our ambition to find a way of not having to post them ourselves, via an in game world map. As Peter, correctly, states, this is not entirely without problems.
"The psychological trials of dwellers in the last times will be equal to the physical trials of the martyrs. In order to face these trials we must be living in a different world."

simple solution:

devs only post wildnerness/terrain maps. players fill in the blanks while they walk around if they so choose. my village has been compromised in this manner as well so it's lolz aplenty. :<

I think an ingame map where you can discover player made stuff as you go around would be a nice feature
