We need a change log.

Anyone else tired of random changes you have no fucking idea about? It's okay when they're announced it's okay when they're fast, but at least tell us. Brickwalls now appear to have double the HP, this would be very nice to have known, we had to learn they went from 75 to 70 soak, and now we had to learn this, by ourselves, it's a real pain to have to figure it out, I test out all kinds of information in game just so I know when it comes in handy, but it seems like I have to test it every day at this rate.

In the beginning I think there was a sort of appeal and charm to most information being undocumented. Sort of an "exploration and discovery" type of thing. But with how complex all different aspects of the game have gotten, at least some centralized formal documentation from the devs would be greatly appreciated.

Oh don't get me wrong I love that stuff for the beginner stuff, but for changes like "Brickwalls now have double HP!" theat should be announced, there's no 'charm' in finding out your wall has 2x HP and no one is checking for it.

Whenever whatever is keeping between you and everyone else (your defense) is changed, it should be told somewhere. It was last time perfectly well, but this time, nothing, not a thing.

Yeah. At least we had the "stuff" announcement so we KNEW we had to go look, but stuff that isn't pretty obvious (such as the wall hp DoG is referring to), should really be announced.

I recall asking for a log ages ago but jorb preferred the whole discovery thing. And it seems announcements have only grown more cryptic since then.

all i know is that the lack of one makes testing and feedback more difficult

I recall a few of yours and some other people's threads on the matter, they seem to always get ignored. So sad, because it is as you say so difficult.

I remember when loftar changed palisade soak to 30 and the only documentation of this was the fact that he said it on IRC or something.

It's doubly strange since this is an alpha and we're supposed to be testing stuff. There's probably game features out there that aren't getting tested because nobody knows they exist...

<Jackard> What are some quirks youve found or would like to see added to the game? Like butchering a chick leaves A Mess... and sheepskin makes twice the parchment. It'd be funny if the cow eggs from world one could be hatched into (useless) cowbirds using a chicken coop. Or if sleeping for a long time gave you dreams. I mean more secret/fun tricks than shoutouts - like puns, sayings and superstitions. Stuff that gives only minor or no benefit: "Blood makes the grass grow."
<Haba> If you have an active murder scent, all the dreams you harvest should instead be "A Terrifying Nightmare".
<jorb> There is at least one that has been in forever, and that no one to my knowledge has discovered.
