Soon.
At least before the end of the world.
You see a masterful engraving by Blaze. On it is Blaze, bears, boars, and foxes. Blaze is striking down the bears. The boars are screaming. The foxes are in a fetal position. The image relates to the return of Blaze in the late winter of 2009.

I guess I might add to this thread that we spent tonight starting to improve the map generator. It will probably take a few more sessions to get all the features implemented in it that we'd like to have before taking the new maps into action, but we're really excited about the new maps so far -- it looks like they're going to rock. :)

Good to hear. Are geology points for mining back on the table? I always liked the idea of being a prospector. Just got to get my mining cap ready for the reboot.

Most definitely. In fact, geology points already exist on the current map, it's just that there is no skill to find them. ;)

I hope geology points come with an expansion to industry, and thus more mine and ore types. We want GOLD already!

There'll be more water on the new map right?
Maybe some rivers, lakes or ponds?

I just find the lack of any other bodies of water, aside from the few around the Ring and the lake, kind of sad.
