Yo-yo Mode

The game's been up and down like a yo-yo for the past 3 hours or so. Any clue what the problem is, or ETA on a fix - or should I go play bridge?

[Edit - I wouldn't mind so much, but you seem to have fixed the partial save bug, that sometimes gave me duplicate objects in this situation. Now if only you'd fixed it in a way that didn't cause me to redo the same batch of mining repeatedly ;-)-]

We've been bringing in and training newbies at the RoB, so there's a bit more load than usual. Maybe you could come help them with us? That way, you won't lose much if the server goes down, as it inevitably will.

Actually, the n00b wave has not been the cause of crashes. They came from my incompetence. :) I think it's fixed now, though -- there was a little problem related to the fighting relations timing out.

It is true, however, the the n00b wave is putting some pressure on the server, though. I already knew what is in most dire need of optimization, however. (It's the account "database" server ("database" being in quotes because "database", to many people, mean an SQL RDBM, which is not true here), if you were wondering)
