I was kinda assuming that the creation of the image involved some automation ... and that a text version in that case should not really be a big problem.
If its not automated, or not directly available (like in spreadsheet) ... and therefor the text version is not updated with the image update ... better not. As in, a incorrect alternative information source is worse than not having it at all.
Still think it would be nice feature.
just a random idea:
- If a spreadsheet is used for holding the current prices ... You could use one page, to pickup, prep, and combine you current new prices into a text version. (could spit out the core text of the first message.)

Seems your missing the point ... I'm not talking about 'maintaining' two separate lists. Just using one data set for multiple purposes/output. Preferable in a way thats as easy as possible.
+ also: A text version can be used by users to make it easier to compare prices ... no matter what the local market is using as trading currency. (as in automated processing of data.)
I'm personally not really thinking directly readable textual data here (thats what the image is for). More like a compressed data list.
But other ideas/suggestions are welcome.
