At the world's gate
by a red brick fence
I ask to see
the glory hence

I wish to see
within the walls
before the world
as we know it falls

I try and enter
to no avail
And to my friend
I give a hail

He comes with fire
and breaking tools
But now I fear
we are both fools

To waste the time
we have left here
Instilling pain
and forging fear

What we should do
is go prepare
for the new world
and living there
