The Glorious Mountainholmes - Are caves hospitable?

Postby cmensock » Wed Jan 12, 2011 2:39 am

My friends and I have stumbled upon a large cave complex in which we wish to live in. Are caves a practical home, what are the downsides (if any)?

We plan to have a farm outside, as to my knowledge it is impossible to farm inside of a cave.

no bears in caves.

caves have cavebulbs(need high perc*exp) which are good to get psyche.

Also you can try finding mine there, or just mining, if it has shallow water you can get cave clay(with high perc*exp also) .

Many have the idea of living in a cave, just make sure it has enough flat lands and not corridors, which would make for a lot of time wasted on transportation etc, also explore for all exits etc.
