Sharing my personal experience with this game

I'll start with saying that this game is very fun and has some potential. Playing and cooperating with a group of people is pretty awesome and I enjoyed working on a village with all the pros and cons that it brings.
That was until I started to discover what kind of people played this game and how the major part of the game's community is made by kids, foreigners and stupid people in general, only then I realized how lucky I was to have found a decent group of people.

For example: I have two characters in this game, my main and a dummy that I use for various errands, today while I was walking through the forest on my secondary character, two players approached me and, for no reason, killed me, now there's nothing wrong with that (also if in my humble opinion there should be some sort of penalty when people just goes around killing everyone for no reason, a karma system or something like that) they also proceeded to call me a "sucker". Knowing how the majority of players are kids, I didn't care that much, and just made a new secondary character and went back to get my equipment (nothing special, all I cared for were a pair of bunny slippers since I didn't want to waste potential leather to make new ones), when I tried to go back, they were still around there killing random players and calling names, "DIE MOTHERFUCKER" was probably their preferred sentence, since it got spammed frequently. After that I just facepalmed, let it go and went back to my main.

Every MMO is filled with players that for some reason have the objective to ruin other people's game experiences as a priority, some games put limitations to that, other games prevent it completely, in this game even a kid (referring to my example, I assume that those players were kids, or at least I hope so) can go around and ruin the game experience for other players without any penalty or effort, even if followed by foul language. Now, personally I lost absolutely nothing of value, since it was just a secondary cahracter with an empty inventory, but there could be and I actually bet that there are new players that cannot even have a chance to start their game experience because someone that started playing before them finds it fun to prevent them from doing so, even though they receive no rewards or any kind of bonuses.

Like I wrote in the thread's title, this is just me sharing my personal experience, I am not saying that this is wrong or bad, I am just sharing my opinions, hoping that at least here I can find a sparkle of intelligence.

I understand your pain. However, I quite like meeting foreigners.

Can you kindly elaborate the pain concept? I don't see how losing a non grinded character with an empty inventory painful, or how a game can be painful in general. I enjoy meeting foreigners too, provided that they can speak at least basic English.

Blame the idiot who told you about the game but didn't tell you what kind of game it is.

There's no need for anything like that, I am just trying to share my ingame experiences, I don't really care about losing a character that has not been leveled at all and has an empty inventory. Wondering if people agrees with the fact that killing lowbies with a leveled character brings absolutely no penalty is wrong and should be revisited as well.

It's not wrong it just is.
There are penalties they are called scents. People can track and kill a murderer offline.
It won't get changed.

Why are you trying to ruin their gaming experience? Maybe they like being a ruthless raider with not a care for anyone else... Its part of the game if you don't wanna be killed find yourself a spot far away from everyone or join a community that can protect you. They are playing the game they want to and you have respect that. Just because it will hurt a few peoples feelings doesn't matter. The catch for Haven & Hearth is this there are no rules... no official rules at least. If you want to be a part a place with rules join a village and don't wander around. This game is not easy... it is not friendly and it is a challenge that isn't just grinding which is most MMO's. There is a social element to it that enjoy and if we did what you wanted to do it would ruin this game and destroy what truly makes the game unique. So kindly get off your high horse or go play another game like Maple Story or Runescape. Your opinion sucks in my opinion
