How do i use a bandage after i made one on a loom ?

I'd just like to know how to use a bandage after i've made one on a loom, because i'm hoping it will get form frmo 7/7/31hp and back up again

Hold it, right click on your character, "Treat head". I agree that it's not obvious.

You also have to remove any headgear beforehand. Trying to use gauze while wearing a hat/helmet will result in the hourglass animation, but no actual effect--the gauze stays on your cursor and no LP is gained.
