Not fun anymore

I was just wondering if any one else out there felt the same way..The game just is not fun anymore..To much has changed and it just is losing it's appeal..

What fun is it to ride on a boat the whole dang game cause you can't get out and go explore for fear of being killed..Sure death is just a thing but the grind it will take to get back to the point of just being able to kill something or see forageables just would not be worth it..Now it is so hard to do anything..and some things is just crazy with the requirements for them..

Anyone else feel the same way as I do? Now the game is just fun for the grinders who do it non stop and thieves and killers..For us people who actually played for the meer pleasure of escaping reality in a world that was fun it is all gone now..Can't really hunt,can't forage,can't farm,can't cook..what fun is there..

Still play but find it rather boring now..Things need to change and soon or I for see alot of people quitting..

I think you are too used to World 3 easy mode where getting some decent armor and a weapon for cheap was basically one CR hop to Constantinople and a quick exchange with a stand.

Some things are harder but most is the same, oh well

Well the killings been going on for a long time now but i see 1200 hearthlings playing. Seems the player base is increasing. This happend in world 3 too. There is no superpowers for the murderers like myself to fear at the moment so why would we stop?

But for the player trying to play the game with maybe one to three people opposed to 20 it is way different..

barracuda ..even if most quit it will still lag..always has and probably always will..


Kaios..World 3 easy???? Nople was out of my reach for most of the game I think I went there maybe 3 times total the whole time I played..

it's definitely true that a lot of things are different, and with those things i think people need a slightly different set of expectations. there might be some necessary adjustments in playing style. this world is definitely more difficult: there are more people in a smaller space, animals will murder you, cave-ins can kill you, there isn't really an economy, like kaios mentioned. however there are some cool things as well, mines seem to be pretty plentiful, swimming is far less deadly, animals give more LP, there are a few other nice things you may not have discovered yet. if you haven't been playing with a group, i highly recommend it. not only is it more fun (provided you get with a decent group, of course), but it is a lot easier to actually get things done and make some progress, both on your character and your settlement.

there are a few things that really, really need to be fixed (q1 crops everywhere, epic lag) but beyond that i really think the changes have all been for the better.

I love this new world, but im afraid we will pile up on skeletons too fast.
I love the new farming system and a lot of else.Besides, only like 3 people out of 1000 are bored.
Find a new game or something if you don't like this, nobody will just change everything because less than 5% of the people want something to be changed.

It's funny because most people said this would happen! New World and then most people who wanted the new world whine that it;s not fun or too hard.

rozn..yes I did reply somewhere way before the wipe that I thought it would be cool..

1.how was we suppose to know so much would change with it..
2.I did not say it was to hard..I can do it just who wants to have to grind so dang hard to get any where?
3.some things do need to be fixed or re figured any way..
