To the man or women who last night while me and my girl were sleeping came to my camp and left us with tools, and storage, thank you. I don't know why you did it, or who you are, but I know you did it with kindness in your heart, you saw us sleeping there and instead of robbing us blind, you provided us with some tools and food, there are good people in world 4. Also I caught my first rabbit, me and my girl are really enjoying this game.

The items could be stolen and they decided to leave it with you to throw off anyone that might track them.

Personally I would be going around and dropping off different things to noobcamp/young villages alike, so far I have stopped by a few small camps, built a wickerbasket and put some WWWs into it for about 5 or so camps, saw some guys plowing and building up their small camp and pull a boar I had just killed out and gave it to them, and also countless other greetings stones I have left around the place reading along the lines of, Goodluck and Have fun, or There is some good Clay to the south...

Of course some people might not have noticed these or heck the runestones might have been moved and replaced with profanities...

I hope that in the future I can be doing this a lot more, perhaps to establish some trade in my local area, or I hope, as long as my neighbors have someone who can speak English (or of course be English speaking themselves), not be hostile and finally be here to play the game and not kill for lulz...

This is inspiring me to do the same thing. The ratio of decent people to general assholes has always been tipped largely in favour of the latter. Acts of kindness are so rare in this game, that simply leaving an unexpected gift to a complete stranger is a wonderful feeling for both players.

I met a couple of new players who happened to set up home just south of where I've been camping. After the initial suspicion and waryness on both sides, we're now friends and sharing resources and generally being nice and helpful to eachother. When I eventually leave to find a more permanent home I'll be sure to leave them a big batch of goodies I've been saving up. :)

For anyone wandering around being helpful, how about carrying some seeds along with you? I was in world 3 and have just started up again in this world, and I know I'm having a hell of a time getting my exploration up high enough to be able to forage for seeds on my own. I'm sure it's the same for others.

I don't know, i've managed to get at least 5 people in my settlement due to the kindness towards players.

I know what it's like to be a new player, i'm one of them.

So that being said, i hope i've lent a hand and enriched the playing experience of ppl around me.

By the way, thanks to whoever it was on that boat that just sped by and dropped off a dead boar. I didn't get a chance to say anything before you sped off.

Unfortunately, it seems the kindness of the boar-man went to waste... My friend and I got ransacked in our sleep. *sigh*

Don't know if that was me all that time ago, but your welcome if it was you two...

The other day I was looking for some bear (hit 40 Survival and was looking to get some bones for better saws for the town) and stumbled across some fresh noobs at the end of a river. I said Hi and the one that was there responded in Russian, I said, oh no worries if you can't speak english, good luck none the less. And started to leave, I then notice the guy appologising cause he hadn't readjusted his Keyboard settings for English. We got chatting and they said they were having problems getting rabbit for their bones for Hooks, they had gotten one for a saw but now they were running out of food...

The day before this I had just turned all our waste bone into hooks for LP, thus I went home, filled a crate and grabbed any WWWs on the way back to them, leaving with them a 63q saw, a chest or two of hooks and 4 WWWs to help them start off. I hope things have been going well for them...
