Wel should make the species go extinct. Then a bear cape would be rare, lol. I can Imagine:
Grandson: "Granddad, What're bears?"
Granddad: "Ohh, son, bears were mighty creatures that people used to slay from the safe comfort of their boats, until Jorb and Loftar the almighty gods gave them the ability to swim, eventually people figured out how to drown them, and they all dissapeared, houndreds of years ago. In our family, we have one of the 9 only bear capes in the world secretly hidden nearby."
