Lag vs realism

Realism is all fine and dandy. But, when permadeath can be affected by bullshit such as lag, it's a problem.

Bears that can kill, that i'm fine with.
Whn Bears pop out of no where and then you get lagged for 10 seconds on the spot till the bear arrives, then even longer lag because of all the data coming and going because the tower of attacks. That's bullshit.

And now I'm dead. Without lag, my armour would of kept me alive till I reached my gate, taking easy 20s every few seconds. But, of course, with the lag? Tower-spam of 20s. Absolute bull. I'm done with this game till the lag gets fixed, because this is the third time I've been nearly killed/killed in a week now.

Aye, but I think it needs addressing. Animals that kill? Fine. Lag? Fine, it happens. But at least have the common sense not to put them together :/.

If people didn't complain it will never get fixed.. yes, despite what your parents told you, whining and complaining does work.

The solution: Deal with it.

If you're weak enough to get killed via a 10 second lag spike, then don't venture off into the wilderness.

That really doesn't work in this game considering the better you are, the less you need to go into the wilderness

I didn't. This is our Tree Reserve -.-'.

In fact, I never, ever leave the village. It's too dangerous.

Oh. Look. :| Somehow, a Bear got through two levels of palisade walls.

While I agree that it's dumb and annoying, that's the way it is so you just have to deal with it. Also, according to that screenshot you did leave the village.
