No bear no boar not even a fox!

I know animals were cut down in numbers this world. I was okay with that.
but since when have they been cut AGAIN?
because, I've found


0 bears
3 boars
4 foxes
1 herd of cows
1 herd of sheep


in the last three days of searching.
I've been going in all directions possible, searching everywhere.
and there's been nothing (almost).

I used to go out and find three bears per hunt.
what the hell?


I used to find the odd cow herd, quite some herds of sheep, 1 - 3 bears per hunt, 10+ foxes and about 6+ boars.




three...days.
next to no animals.
what gives?

Yep, you rarely see bears these days. One every 2-3 days on average.

that's shit. I've also found 0 deer.
I'm trying to hunt. there's NOTHING to hunt.
and the odd boar I DO see, runs the fuck away and doesn't come back because my MM is too high

in one day saw 5 deer, 4 bears, 6 boars and about 10 foxes BUT NO HERDS!

Let me doubt u've seen no boars in 3 days, unless u only played only 10min a day. I've no problems killing 3-4 boars per day playing 2 hours. U probably are doing something wrong. I enjoy more the new hunting as u've to actually be a hunter and scout the are for your preys.

I think animal scarcity is a good thing. Too many bears/boars/aurochs make it too easy for people to grind stats. Also, a high concentration of aggressive animals makes it very hard for newbies to learn the game - or dangerous for anyone without a full screen + xray client.

I usually find 3-4 of every animal, and one of each herd. In my 6 hours of playing. But alot of the animals are starting to be low level due to all the villages.
