Large game population

I hadn't been on in about two months and I am used to seeing a player count around 200-400, but I looked at the player count today and it is over 1000. What is with this new, large player group, where did they come from and how.

The move to the new server just before the world reset enabled more than 300 to play without crashing.

Its probably due to the latest nVidia driver patch, since it seems to have ended with the Java problem...

Also, news of Salem's been all over gaming blogs. It's how I found out about H&H.

I seriously need to play this game more consistantly, but I am busy a lot. Also Minecraft is a good game that I play that takes me away from here.

I learned of this game while researching Salem as well. It makes me think maybe the Salem publicity is bringing new people to Haven.

I just learned of it as well, although in my case it was through an Ask Metafilter game recommendation thread. Not sure where the poster found out about it.
