Haven and Hearth as a .exe ?

Postby GrandProject » Tue Feb 08, 2011 1:31 pm

Heya, i've recently found a way to play executable's at school, and have been dabbling in FO, FO2, etc, as far as games go, however I would like to try Haven at school. The problem i've found is that all haven downloadable clients come as batch/command files, meaning I still cannot run them, so, what I was wondering , was if there was a way I can either make it into an .Exe, or if someone already has.

Also, I have only very mild computer skills as far as programming goes.

Get your grimy mitts on something called wsftp.exe, or something similar. I'll wager that it will allow you to execute whatever you want, bypassing the controls. Enjoy :D

Can you explain what that is and how to use it? :/
At the moment i'm using a loophole through MS word/powerpoint.

Aside from the fact it is not an .exe, have you considered the fact that in all likelyhood they've closed almost every port on their network?

On my college's wireless, there is literally one port open, and that's the one to connect to the internet normally. Which isn't the one that H&H uses.

Chances are this isn't going to work... you should probably be paying more attention in class anyway.
