cheese trays are the new buckets

Calling it now. Fields of cheese trays.

Maybe the solution isn't to nerf each thing the grinders jump onto (looms/cups/forks/buckets/digging etc) but to fix grind-dependent gameplay?

I'm thinking people who suggest things that have already been talked about ad nauseam (dozens of times over the past few days even) should probably just be banned from the forums.

This isn't really a suggestion, otherwise I would have posed it in critique and ideas. If anything it's a chance to discuss what the grinders will move to next.

They only give 40ish LP at 360% and take a while to make. No need to nerf them.

They give 150ish for me. And it's an easy grind to mindlessly execute.

Commence operation deforest world #4.

seriously, end all the crying about lps. The way the game is going..
the inevitable conclusion is everything gives the same LP. Or time-based
progression like eve.

wahh, buckets are too fast.
wahh, mining is too fast.
*nerf, nerf, nerf..*
-enter a new hero.. the dream farmer-
abandon all seeds, farm dowsing rods!

lawlerskates.

Grind game is by definition grindy, must nerf grind.

Nerfing is just a bandaid.

Someone is always searching for the easiest and fastest way to gain lp.

True, and if people always complain about the most efficient way at that moment the only solution would be to remove LP, or make all actions reward the same exact amount of LP for the time consumed
( like 2 LP for each second you're busy working ).
Of course that'll still be unbalanced, since collecting sticks and crafting something is much easier, then your every day jewelry consuming gold and pearls.

So the crafting process has to be in relation to the rarity of the used materials.

Rarity of resources can only be determined by hand though, still - balancing a table with rarity values compared to other resources should be easier then balancing the game by changing the LP gain of a certain craft.

Expect 20 threads whining about cheese trays next week. Then we get a nerf again. Then macroers find something else, and it gets nerfed again. After a while everything is nerfed and normal people get even less LP than they did before, whilst those people will still be there macroing whatever is best for them.
