If you use criminal acts to take high quality resources off a claim the owner will track you down and stab your face. Better off trying to contact them for a trade.

In the case of water I suppose you could dowse near the claim. There might be a decent q well spot, with the bonus that it won't lower the node quality and prompt face stabbing.

A hearthvault or grinding a suicidal alt up to vandalism would work too. If they're smart that claim is going to need millions of authority to remove, probably more trouble than the first two.

If this is the same place, I found q 66 water deep in the middle of a lake. Not really the greatest quality, and a huge bitch to claim because it's at least a minimap and a half into the middle of the lake.
