Me, My Friend, and a theif with a sick sense of humor

My friend and I have recently started and colonized a unused piece of land. We had built two timber houses and we were just starting to plow the area that we were going to build our walls around. (We had already claimed it) Anyway, so my friend is offline and I am organizing my several cupboards. All of a sudden I heard the door sound effect and look down. Much to my surprise a man with a soldier's helmet, a necro cloak, and a sword walks in and says that hes a murderer. He then explains that he is just kidding and quickly goes through all of my stuff. (leaving plenty of scents in doing so) I asked him what he was doing and why he was in my house, and he responded in broken English that, "it was a top secret." and then he asked if I wanted to spar. I guess mr. Secretive Big Bad Murderer wanted to show me how easily he could kill my 3 day old character. Which he succeeded in quickly defeating. So after the spar he just says bye and runs away. I followed him to the boat that he had apparently used to get to my house and I feeling like some sort of revenge must be taken, asked him if he wanted to spar again, which he agreed to. As he got out of the boat to spar me, I jumped into his boat, called my farewells, and I drove away. When I got a save distance away I checked what was in the boat only to find a crate containing nothing but a dead rabbit and a boar corpse. So I hid his boat behind a tree and hearted back to my house where he had been waiting for me. He called me a fucker and I told him to calm down and I was only trolling him and that I had returned the boat. After I had given him this false information he went to go check ( obviously to no avail) and i logged out fearing for my life. Anyway, I called my friend up and now in the cover of night we have moved all if our possessions into a safe and well guarded area. We have no idea who this guy was, but it doesn't much matter. I still stole his boat and used that very boat to transport my items and the boar within to feed my face. So the lesson here is lying through your teeth to a probably murderous thief is ok, especially if you top it off with stranding them at you old house with no means of leaving other than walking up the river or hearthing.

Nice work You didn't attack him or anything so you guys should be sweet, my advice is just move away and stay away, when I murder people I don't mind camping a few days for them

That's actually what we did. I returned however for my bear skin that i had to leave behind and couldn't find any trace of the guy.

What a weird way to say 'hi' to other players, by barging into their home and looking through all their things. That said, everyone seems to think it perfectly okay to go through any containers that aren't behind sealed walls, which I absolutely hate. Good for you, getting some fun out of it.

Not everyone likes to leaves summonable scents. Also, not everyone goes on a warpath over a stolen boat. Seriously, it's just a boat.
