New Map: Rivers

Will there be many rivers? Currently we have a gig lake and a few small ones, but that's it. I have never used the fishing skill once, and I never will unless there is a place to fish.

..you can fish in any water you see atm.
However, to answer your question, the devs said there will be boats and rivers. I must assume that means there will be enough water that boats will actually be useful.
